The Foundation’s Legacy Book project was created to honor retiring HTSD staff. Each retiring staff member is invited to choose a book that the Foundation will then purchase and donate to the retiree’s chosen HTSD library. To date, the project has resulted in the donation of over 100 books to every library in the district, each with a book plate commemorating the retiree’s name, the school name, and the year. It has proven to be a meaningful way to honor the service staff members who have dedicated many years of their career to the Haverford School District Students.
