The HTSD Education Foundation is a sponsor of the annual DISCOVER Day for elementary students in the Haverford Township community. Annually over 400 students take part in DISCOVER Day, which is devoted to scientific observation, exploration, and reflection. Dozens of hands-on activities and exhibits allow students to explore with topics including bugs, fingerprinting, chemistry, the physics of light, coding, and the world of planets.
